President Ghani, CEO Abdullah Agree On Forming Amended Commission Of Constitution
MEP: Leaders of the National Unity Government (NUG) in their third summit have agreed on some changes and reforms in the electoral system and the formation of modified Commission constitution.
President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) held a meeting for the third time during the last ten days.
A statement by CEO office said the two sides discussed on reforming the electoral system, the distribution of electronic ID cards, the formation of an amended commission constitution and appointment of members of the Monitoring Committee on the implementation of the political agreement.
The two sides have achieved agreements on issues that its results will be announced officially in the current week, the statement added.
These meetings come after harsh criticism of Chief Executive Officer on NUG works that the President had also responded well to it.
