Police Arrest Seven Over Recent Kabul Bombings

arrestss-300x247KABUL: (MEP) At least seven terrorists have been arrested for launching the recent attacks in capital Kabul, the National Directorate of Security (NDS) said Tuesday.

A statement was released by NDS states, the militants are members of Haqqani terrorist network who were arrested Tuesday night from Hod Kheil area, east Kabul.

The terrorists were accused of three suicide attacks that were carried out in Hawa Shinasi area, at the gate of airport, according to the statement.

They are identified as:

“1-Khalid S/O Shah Mohammad, head of Haqqani terrorist network in Kabul city, 2-Asmatullah S/O Shah Mohammad, head of propaganda campaign of Haqqani network, 3-Noorullah S/O Baba Jan, he was keeping car bombs inside his residence in Hod kheil area, 4-Farhad S/O Zubair, he was keeping suicide bombers, 5-Walid S/O Mohammad Zubair, member of the group, 6-Bahadur S/O Qadir Gul, member of the group, 7-Khoshahal S/O Ahmad Gul, member of the group,” the statement read.

The security forces also seized 140 kilograms of explosives during the operation, based on the statement adding that group planned another suicide attacks across the city.
