Parliament Summons Security Officials Due To Recent Bombings In Capital

MEP: MPs on the first working day after the end of their summer holidays, have summoned security officials due to rise and security concerns and the presence of irresponsible armed individuals, to parliament.

Abdullah Habibi, Secretary of Defense, Taj Mohammad Jahid, Interior Minister and Masoom Stanekzai, head of the National Security have come to Parliament on Wednesday morning.

Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi, the Parliament Speaker said that the security officials due to increased insecurity and concerns about the presence of irresponsible armed individuals have been summoned to parliament.

According to him, at the end of parliament, will be decided on contentment or lack of contentment representatives of the security authorities’ response.

The development comes as currently clashes and military operations are ongoing in many parts of the country and two days ago Kabul, the capital of the country has witnessed suicide attacks including one near the gate of Defense Ministry in which a large number of people were killed and wounded.
