Over 60 Daesh-Affiliated Killed In Nangarhar Operations
MEP: During the security and defense forces operations more than 79 members of the ISIS/ISIL (Daesh) were killed and wounded in Nangarhar province, local officials announced on Wednesday.
A statement by Nangarhar provincial press office said, the operations were launched last week with the goal of eliminating terrorist groups in different parts of the province.
61 Daeshi were killed and 18 others wounded as a result of operations, the statement added.
According to the source, the operations in the areas of Khoragi, Se-Paya, Patah-Darah, Bandok, Farshakhel and Chanarkhel of the province to suppress opponents and members of Daesh terrorist group had been conducted.
At least three army soldiers were also killed during the conflict.
