Provincial governor spokesman Aqa Javid said the accident took place after a passenger bus collided with a fuel tanker in Muqur district leaving over a hundred killed and injured.

“The bus ramped up in fire after the crash and most of the injured people are in a critical condition,” he said.

Eyewitnesses also confirmed the crash and said the incident occurred when two passenger vehicles of 303, which one was coming from Kabul and the other from Kandahar were flowing in the opposite direction, collided with a tanker truck.

Ghazni officials say the incident occurred because of the recklessness of the driver who was moving from Kandahar to Kabul.

This is the first deadliest and a bloody accident occurred in Kabul-Kandahar highway this year.
