Over 100 ISIL Militants Killed in Syrian Warplanes

KABUL: (Middle East Press) More than a hundred ISIL fighters have been killed after the Syrian warplanes have pounded their positions in the northwestern city of Aleppo, local media reports say.

Over 100 terrorists were killed after military jets bombarded militant hideouts in the troubled region, the Syrian official news agency SANA said on Friday.

Several ISIL preserves and ammunition depots were also destroyed by Syrian airstrikes in the area.

The airstrikes come after The ISIL militants fired hundreds of rockets and shells into at least seven government-held areas of Aleppo late on Thursday,

At least four civilians were killed and over 70 others wounded in the massive attack by the militants. Reports indicate that the government forces have successfully repelled the latest militant assault in the area.
