NSC Approves Afghan Forces’ National Day
MEP: National Security Council (NSC) hailing the country’s security and defense forces, has approved the forces’ National Day and confirmed that the region of “Spin Ghar” in eastern Nangarhar province will be conducted as the new district.
A statement by Presidential Palace (ARG) was released saying, National Security Council meeting was held yesterday evening and discussed the country’s security.
To praise the bravery and sacrifices of the security forces and the country’s defense, celebration of the National Day of admiration and appreciation of troops (delegate badges, medals, certificates and cash allowances) were adopted, the statement added.
A work team composed of representatives of the defense and security organs, the Ministry of Culture, Religious Affairs, Information and Culture, Labor, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled, Ministry of Justice, the Independent Directorate of Local Governance, NDS and in coordination with the office of the National Security Council are supposed to prepare a list of the security forces.
Meanwhile, the National Security Council, after hearing reports of mission to Spin Ghar area based on to self-determination of the district which was declared as an independent district in 1372, decided to form a separate administrative unit.
