NPC Approves Four Contracts Worth 1.6 Billion AF
MEP: National Procurement Commission (NPC) chaired by President Ashraf Ghani, has approved four contracts worth a total of 1.6 billion AFN on Sunday.
The four contracts include the design and reconstruction projects of generators in Chek area of Maidan Wardak province, preparations of various types of engines for Coal Enterprise in Baghlan province, and air products for ‘De Ariana Afghan Company’ and other materials for national army units and field, a statement by Presidential Palace (ARG) said.
The statement adds that President Ghani instructed the Ministry of Energy and Water to continually monitor the implementation work of power generation projects in Maidan Wardak and the quality of its work.
The NPC has examined the report on the situation of construction projects of the Ministry of Public Health, public hospitals in Kabul and the regions in which, a delegation of the Ministry of Public Health, the Ministry of Finance and National Procurement Office was appointed under the chairmanship of the Minister of Economy in order to issue the subject comprehensively and report to the commission on time.
NPC from the beginning of its activities, has voided a large number of contracts, particularly contracts for the Ministry of National Defense and in many other agreements has thrift.
