اشرف-غنی-در-حال-تماسMEP: Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif has recently hailed President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in cooperation for killing Omar Mansour after relations between Kabul and Islamabad were allegedly darkened on how President Ghani accused Islamabad for lack of cooperation in combating terrorism.

Previously, the two countries have accused each other of their lack of cooperation in the fight against terrorism; but now a new angle of relations between the two countries is happening.

Ghani after taking office seeks to consolidate relations with Islamabad and in the early weeks and months of his reign, traveled to Pakistan.

But this relationship only in the first weeks and months of President Ashraf Ghani apparently was friendly, Kabul and Islamabad after that, always accused each other of harboring Afghan and Pakistani Taliban or made no decisive deal with them.

However, President Ghani had a phone conversation with Nawaz Sharif on Saturday evening, assured that the mastermind behind the terrorist attack on a school in Peshawar in 2014 has been killed in Afghanistan.

Following these remarks, the Prime Minister also praised the action in Afghanistan.

The report comes as two days ago, Omar Zakhilwal, the Afghan ambassador to Pakistan said that Ghani has done the necessary coordination on Omar Mansoor’s death.
