KABUL: (Middle East Press) The National Directorate of Security (NDS) has detained 13 anti-government insurgents in eastern Nangarhar province.
A statement released by NDS on Monday states the insurgents were involoved in insurgency activities in Bati Kot, Nazyan, Chaparhar and Ghanikhil districts when arrested by officials.
During the operations, the security forces discovered weapons and security force uniforms, according to the statement.
A footage released by NDS shows the arrested terrorists admitting their participation in attacks on security posts.
