More Than 130 Food Railcars Arrived in Afghanistan

KABUL (MEP) – Afghan Railway Administration says that 130 commercial property trucks, including 130 food trucks, entered the country via the railroad tracks.

The property has entered the country through the Hairatan-Mazar-e-Sharif railways.

“The number of railcars, totaling 9,014 tons of food, including flour, oil, rice and etc. imported into Afghanistan,” says the Railway Administration.

The source added that Central Asian countries have assured that food will normally enter Afghanistan via railways.

Meanwhile, people across the country have been deeply concerned about food supply problems in recent days and in many cases have flooded into shopping malls and a number of “abusive” businessmen misusing people’s needs, have sold the goods in a high price.
