Man Held In Baghlan For Shooting His Mother
MEP: Local officials in northern Baghlan province say, a young man in Central Baghlan district, opened fire on his mother and she sustained injuries.
Col. Muhibullah central Baghlan district police chief told the Middle East Press, the incident happened late yesterday when the man wounded his mother in the leg.
Motive behind the incident was described as “domestic violence”, according to Muhibullah police has arrested the man and he is currently under further questioning.
However, one of the residents said that as a result of a gunshot, the woman died.
The report comes as last week a nurse, resident of the district had been killed by unknown gunmen in Baghlan – Kunduz highway.
