Man Arrested In Kunduz For Burning The Bodies Of Local Police
MEP: Kunduz police chief said the designer of the armed attacks on police checkpoints has been arrested in the city.
Kunduz police chief Gen. Abdul Hamid Hamidi, announced the report today (4th April) in a press conference.
He said the man was identified as Imam al-Din, known as Bilal was detained in the city who was involved in attacks on security checkpoints of Zakhel and Kocha Qazaaq.
Meanwhile, the police chief of Kunduz added, in the last three months 148 people have been arrested on charges of carrying out crimes in the province.
The report comes as the armed Taliban in recent months with the recruitment of security forces, killed several of them seized their weapons.
In the latter case on March 19th in the Qazaaq security checkpoint in Ali Abad – Kunduz highway, 9 local policemen were killed and their bodies were burned.
