“The National Unity Government is committed to eliminate the terrorists’ activities in the national and regional level,” Ghani said in a statement on Tuesday, adding that “Afghan Government will use all means to combat such agents.”

He offered his deep condolences to the families of martyrs and for those injured in the blast wished quick recovery.

Meanwhile, Ghani vowed severe revenge for ‘every drop of blood’ of Afghan people spilled by the militants in the attack.

During a visit to Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan hospital where the injured civilians are treated, President Ghani said the attack represents a culture of ignorance which is not having any justification in the religion of Islam.

The Chief Executive Officer Abdullah Abdullah also condemned Tuesday’s suicide car bombing, calling the attack a clear sign of terror groups in battlefield against the Afghan forces.

He urged the political elites to prioritize the national interests and defy terror attacks, insisting that the Afghan forces have clear orders to destroy enemies anytime and anywhere in the country.

He added that in such a situation it is essential that the elders raise their voice against the enemies.
