Kabul Security Officials Thwart Suicide Attack On Girls School
MEP: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) have thwarted a deadly suicide attack on a girl’s school in Kabul on Tuesday.
A statement by the agency issued saying the would-be suicide bomber was shot and wounded the security forces.
Bakhtullah confessed to the plot and said he had been appointed by Rehan, a commander of Haqqani network, to carry out the bombing in Chahar Assyab district of Kabul city, the statement added.
According to the statement Bakhtullah was shot and arrested in Khoshi district of central Logar province.
The development comes as earlier four armed Taliban, including citizens of Tajikistan have been arrested in Badakhshan Province over destruction plots.
