Kabul Receives Bodies Of Asylum Seekers
KABUL: (MEP) The bodies of a number of Afghan asylum seekers were drowned in the Greece sea, arrived in capital Kabul.
The boat carrying the refugees, had been capsized last Monday evening in the sea between Turkey and Greece, according to informed sources.
More than 40 asylum seekers were on board that over half of them were Afghan citizens as a result of its sinking, all the occupants died.
The bodies of those presented in the ship, have been arrived today in Kabul and handed over to their families.
10 members of a family, including children and women were among dead Afghan refugees, security forces in Hamid Karzai Airport said.
“No individual must leave the country because its result is ‘death’ in the sea” Relatives of the dead say.
This comes as earlier the bodies of a number of citizens were also arrived in Kabul and handed over to families.
