It Is A Religious Duty To Defend Ayatollah “Issa Qassim” To Death
MEP: Bahraini clerics issued a statement saying that defending Ayatollah “Issa Qassim” to death is a religious duty. They have also urged people to keep on fighting against the Al Khalifa regime.
In their reactions to the events of the past few days, the Bahraini clerics have issued a statement declaring their full height defense of Ayatollah “Issa Qassim” and called for more protests.
According to Bahrain News the Clerics said in a statement:
- Defend to death. The Bahraini clerics stated to its people that it is a religious duty for everyone to unconditionally defend the National leader, Ayatollah Sheikh “Issa Qassim (our souls ransomed for him).
- It is compulsory for everybody to participate in response to an act of aggression and bloody rule and we demand a widespread presence in the streets and in all areas and a strong presence in all the peaceful activities as much as possible.
- The need for public anger against the government at all levels and the need to pay the debts in practice to the will of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the course of religion and our country.
- We are asking everybody in all areas to participate on Monday night while shrouded with the slogan “We will defend our country and honor”.
On Wednesday night, the Bahraini security forces attacked the protesters who had gathered at the home of Ayatollah Sheikh Issa Qassim in the region, “Aldraz”, in the West of Manama, capital of Bahrain.
On 31st of June, Bahrain’s government revoked the citizenship of Sheikh Issa Qassim, the leader of the revolution of Bahrain. Since then, he has been under house arrest in his home town, “Aldraz” and people have gathered in front of his house.
