ISIL (Daesh) Stormed Achin District In Nangarhar
KABUL: (Middle East Press) A group of armed-men belonging to Islamic State or Daesh have reportedly stormed and launched a coordinated attack on the building of Achin district in eastern Nangarhar province, local officials said Saturday.
Haji Ghalib, governor of Achin district said the militants have started clashing with the security forces and the clashes are ongoing in the area.
The incident took place when the militants attack two check-posts in the district around 03:00 am this morning.
There are no reports regarding the casualties of both side so far.
According to Ghalib, the militants have detained two of the soldiers during the attack however no more details are given yet.
