Iraqi Official Urged To Cut Ties With Saudi Arabia

MEP: Iskander Witwit, a member of the Iraqi parliament’s Security and Defense Committee urged the prime minister to break off relations with Saudi Arabia.

He urged the foreign ministry to cut off diplomatic relations with Saudi Arabia which is the leader of the terrorist armies in Syria and Iraq and supports repression in Bahrain and also killing Yemeni children in Yemen.

At a press conference he condemned the subversive role of Saudi Arabia and Qatar against free nations in the Arab world and expressed his surprise about the role of “thamer al sabhan” former Saudi ambassador in Baghdad.

He added “We need a serious diplomacy against the continuous aggressions of Saudi Arabia. That’s the demand of all freedom-loving Iraqis on the defense of their national sovereignty.”

Saudi Arabia and Qatar are among the first countries in the world that created terrorism.

After Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait in 1990 Saudi Arabia broke off diplomatic relations with Iraq. “Abdullah Al Harthy” was the last resident ambassador in Iraq from 1983 to 1990.
