13931018000228_PhotoLKABUL: (Middle East Press) More than 48 thousand undocumented immigrant Afghan students have been enrolled in Iran’s schools and are able to read and write.

According to Middleeastpress, Registration of undocumented Afghan students have been approved after the talks of Iran and Afghanistan presidents and were officially launched from the beginning of August, 2015.

Dr. Zolfeqari Deputy Interior Minister of Republic Iran, said about 48 thousands of illegal or undocumented Afghan students have been registered in schools so far.

Referring to the cooperation in the field of education for Afghan migrants is a positive concern for refugees that benefit from the science and education in the development of Iran.

According to Zolfeqari, there has been noble cooperation between the two nations.

However, to continue and strength this kind of cooperation is possible.

The registration process only children between the ages of 7 and 18 whom families without legal documents or invalid documents could be present.
