In Dushanbe fight, Ahmad Wali Hotak lost to Russian rival.

In Dushanbe fight, Ahmad Wali Hotak lost to Russian rival.
In the final minute of the third round Hotak was knocked out by Kanakov and experienced his first defeat in international fights.

He prepared for this fight several months ago and began his heavy workouts in Kabul.

On his Facebook page after the match Hotak expressed regret and called on his people not to be disappointed about his lost this time.

The 33-year-old Hotak won his first medal at the age of 22 in the same Free-Fight series.

The last time Hotak fought with Russian rival was against Ivan Kozachenko that could knockout him during the second round of the match in Moscow City, the capital of Russia.

Ahmed was previously in Taekwondo field, but later he went to the boxing sport and won good results and achievements too.
