Immigration, A New Challenge for the Government

KABUL: (Middle East Press) Increasing insecurity, lack of work, rising unemployment and the opening of European borders to the refugees, a large number of Afghan citizens are also encouraged to follow the path of difficult and hard ways to reach a peaceful life.

After these events, a large number of citizens of the young, old, women, men, girls and boys have all left the country for a change in thinking and living together.

There were many problems and suffering in this way that have caused dead for a number of families, men and women and the remaining child or children have also been killed while another remaining of men and women with enormous problems have reached to the borders of Germany.

This isn’t just the end, yet we have a large number of Afghan civilians presenting in camps or across the border in Germany and other European countries with several difficult conditions.

Meanwhile, unemployment and insecurity rampant in the country and a large number of our people have put their lives and other family members at risk to reach the European countries due to above problems, but a new frustrating case for refugees who have reached to Europe or in camps, is announcing the expulsion of refugees who have not got the admission there.

But the worse and disappointing is in making a difference in the views of the President and the Ministry of Refugees; The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation recently announced that the country does not have the capacity to provide living facilities for immigrants and have called on Germany and EU officials not to return the migrants.

On the other hand, the President has announced that the country is ready to accept the deported immigrants.

Regarding the issue, Hafeez Ahmad Miakhel press secretary of the Ministry of Refugees says: “there is no such thing or attempt by European countries in the plan, we will use the full power and capacity of citizens to be accepted as refugees.”

He added regarding the opposition statement by Presidential Palace to the Ministry of Refugees, the President has the ability to view certain issues on the country and the Ministry is also implementing the country but the vision of the Ministry is that should be taken as refugees.

According to Miakhel, the Ministry of Refugees isn’t yet ready to accept the deported immigrants, because there is conflict going on in some parts of the country and the cold season has also arrived meanwhile.

Press secretary of the Ministry of Refugees stated that the situation in Afghanistan with Pakistan and Bangladesh are different as practically war is going on in the country that a large number of refugees have fled to Europe due to war.

On the other hand, President, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani said that the government is obliged to create a return on those citizens whose cases have not been accepted in European countries.

According to Ghani, the government is ready to receive the return refugees.

In the meantime, one of the country’s citizens Ali, who has reached in a camp in Germany a month ago, said to MiddleEastPress “we got here with great difficulties the way we saw men, women and children who dies or drowns in the sea.”

He urged the Afghan government not to hinder the refugees’ presence in European countries when the country cannot effort to provide employment for them.

What are the Differences Stem from?

Abdul Sattar Khawasi, representative of Parwan province in Parliament said to MiddleEastPress: “disputes and differences arising from the lack of proper management and suitable leadership hoping that soon the problems to be solved.”

He stated that the migration of citizens is a pity that so many young and strong labor forces left the country and become the workforce of the European countries.

According to Khawasi, the government of Afghanistan against their slogans could not provide job opportunities for youth and insecurity has also reached its peak which resulted in migration background.
