Head of petroleum directorate was terrorized in his office in 1st district of Maymana, capital of Faryab province.
“Naghibollah, the head of petroleum directorate in Faryab was terrorized in front of his office at 10 am today by two motorist armed men” told Javid Bidar, the spokesman for Faryab provincial governor, to the Middle East Press
The terrorist killers fled from the area but they are being sought by the investigating organs.
No one or group has taken responsibility of the incident.
Recently, targeted assassinations has sharply increased in northen provinces; earlier, the head of youth branch of Jamiyat-e Islami party in Kundoz and a senior member of National Congress Party in Baghlan had been assassinated.
