Gunfire Kills Four In Pakistan’s Karachi
KABUL: (MEP) At least four people including one woman was killed while five others wounded during firing incidents in several areas of Karachi.
The Pakistani security officials have meanwhile arrested 5 suspects and 2 taken into custody in a crackdown against crime.
According to the details, a woman named Chand Bibi was killed while another individual was injured as unknown assailants opened fire on a car in Defence Khayaban-e-Badr area.
A man was gunned down in Lyari Rungi Wara area.
Another man named Tahir was shot dead at an Easy Load shop near Garden police check-post.
Meanwhile 2 children were injured as 2 groups clashed in Malir area.
A young girl named Fatima was injured during firing in Mominabad area.
And a last one was wounded by firing while resisting a robbery in New Karachi.
Pakistani law enforcement agencies started a search operation in Malir Salar Goth area after an incidence of firing during which 2 alleged suspects including Anwar Baloch were taken into custody.
On the other hand, security agencies arrested 3 suspects Gul Muhammad, Nisar and Bahadur and recovered ammunition along with 2 bottles of liquor.
2 suspects were also arrested from Baghdadi’s area of Lyari Siraj Para during a raid conducted by the law enforcement agencies.
According to sources, arrested suspects are operatives of the Lyari gangwar Uzair Baloch group.
