Girl Got Pregnant By Father In Jawzjan
KABUL: (Middle East Press) A 15-year-old girl got pregnant from her father in Aqacha district of Jawzjan province, officials said Thursday.
The girl’s mother has complained against her husband to police in the province due to the incident and has demanded punishment for his crime.
Abdul Hadi, a spokesman for the provincial police of Jawzjan said that the girl was repeatedly raped by her father.
The girl’s father has been arrested and is under police custody for further investigation, Hadi said.
The girl’s mother meanwhile transferred her daughter to hospital to give birth.
However, it’s so far unclear why the girl’s family did not complain to police before.
Police officials in Jawzjan say the case is under investigation.
