KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least two civilians were injured following an explosion early morning in Kabul city.
The incident took place in Qasaba area of police district 15 in Kabul city around 06:30AM Sunday morning.
Mohammad Ayoub Salangi, acting minister of interior confirmed the incident.
According to him the bomb was placed in fruit vehicle.
Farid Afzali, anti-criminal department officer of Kabul police also confirmed the blast.
The blast site was near the Hamid Karzai International Airport, previously known as Kabul International Airport which also temporarily suspended the air operation of the airport.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
