Explosion Leaves 60 Injured In Syria’s Aleppo

MEP: At least sixty people, including bus drivers, passengers and businessmen were critically wounded in an explosion in northwestern outskirts of Syria’s Aleppo Province, the so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

The blast took place at a checkpoint near the town of Afrin on Sunday, the report added.

The nature of the blast is unknown. However, it can be said to be an embedded bomb.

The explosion comes as Takfiri militants have occupied major parts of the city as in recent weeks they have launched fatal attacks against civilians and government forces in the west.
