Explosion Kills 1, Injuries 8 Including 4 Judges In Logar
KABUL: (MEP) At least one was killed and eight others sustained injuries including four provincial judges in a roadside bomb explosion in Central Logar province.
The incident occurred Sunday morning at around 9am local time after the vehicle of the Logar Court judges struck the roadside bomb in the center of Pul-e-Alam.
Logar security officials say, “Haqiq Rahman Haqmal” head of the appeal court, “Abdul Basit”, head of the Municipal Court, “Omar Haidari” head of the Criminal Appeal Court and another member of the Appeal Court along with four civilians were wounded and a protector of the judges were killed in the blast.
According to officials, the explosion resulted from a remote control bomb planted on a bicycle.
No group or individual claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
