Explosion In Jalalabad Leaves One Dead
MEP: At least one person was killed and another wounded in an explosion in Jalalabad city, capital of Nangarhar province, a local official said.
Attaullah Khogyani, Nangarhar governor’s spokesman told the Middle East Press, the incident occurred at around 9:30 this morning 5 January 2017 near Shisham Garden in the fourth police district.
The attack arose from a magnetic bomb embedded in one of the elders called Najib Arab in which his bodyguard was killed and one civilian wounded, he said.
Khogyani stressed research has begun to trace the perpetrators of the issue in earnest.
