KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least three children have lost their lives and 15 others wounded in an explosion in in Pul-e-Khumri, the capital of northern Baghlan, officials said.
The blast took place Tuesday around 11 am after a group of boys between 10 to 13 ages found the mortar shell and started playing with it, officials at Baghlan hospital said.
The victims were soon shifted to local civil hospital by security forces after the blast.
Investigations launched into the crime.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
