Eight security forces killed in Khwaja Bahauddin of Takhar
In the armed Taliban attack on security forces’ base in the Khwaja Bahauddin of Takhar, eight national and local police and a number of armed Taliban killed.
“Armed Taliban attacked a Security Base in Charsiha area in Khwaja Bahauddin district today morning (Tuesday, May 07),” Takhar governor’s spokesman Javad Hijri told the Middle East Press.
According to him, beside Taliban`s casualties, eight national and local police has been killed, and armed Taliban attacks have also been eliminated.
Meanwhile, Takhar governor’s spokesman said that Al-Fath operation of armed Taliban failed in Takhar province and over the past week two senior members of the group, along with 24 others, were killed.
Hijri said that over last week, shadow Deputy for Takhar and Deputy of Red Corps Qari Naser have been killed in Kokche outskirts.
Armed Taliban have not yet commented on this.
