KABUL: (Middle East Press) Eight cabinet candidates and the new National Directorate of Security Director took oath by President Ashraf Ghani on Sunday.
They will start their occupations this week amid continued uncertainty around when and by who the remaining positions in the cabinet will be filled.
The swearing in ceremony was prepared in the Presidential Palace Sunday afternoon where President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abdullah Abdullah and other high officials of the Afghan National Unity government were presented.
President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and Chief Executive Officer CEO Abdullah Abdullah prayed for their success in the way of serving the nation at the end of the oath taking ceremony.
