Eight Daesh Terrorists Including Three Foreigners Killed In Nangarhar Airstrikes

Daesh terrorists killed in Nangarhar airstrikesMEP: At least eight members of Daesh or ISIL terrorists including three foreigners have been killed in airstrikes carried out by the Afghan security forces in eastern Nangarhar province.

Nangarhar police chief’s press office issued a statement states the air raids were launched last night in Achin and Kot districts.

Five Daesh terrorists were killed in Achin district and three others who were foreigners and affiliated with the terror group, have been killed in Kot district, according to the statement.

The security forces also confiscated a number of weapons and ammunition from the militants.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of National Defense confirmed the killing of eight Daesh terrorists in Nangarhar province saying ‘Mullah Bozorg, the commander of Daesh in Kot district is likely to be among the dead.

Nangarhar is among the provinces where Daesh or ISIL terrorist group is extensively active in it.
