Eid In Afghanistan And It’s Traditions
MEP: Less than 24 hours remain to Eid-ul-fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan, thousands of Afghan citizens across the country are busy doing shopping the entertainment needs to serve a good way of loved ones and friends during Eid days.
Large sellers and vendors are all busy selling their goods and the buyers without any intellectual involvement are in efforts to provide the holidays’ needs.
There are a lot of traditions in the country in addition to providing a wide variety of foods and people’s customs in each province is different.
In northern provinces of the country, which together have a common tradition among other people in the country, almost commemorate the days in the same way during the Eid days.
In the first day after the Eid prayer rituals most of the people visit their nearest relatives and friends and celebrate the day together and those who are engaged will go to their father-in-law’s home visit their fiancés and spend time with the whole members of the family.
Also in the second and third days of Eid people continue visiting their loved ones, even in these two days those who are angry with each other, by going to each other’s houses opacity and hatred disappear from their hearts and they make up.
Some people mark these days as the “sweetest moments” of their lives.
Eid is considered as of the most memorable moments in the lives of the Afghan people, from children to adults in these days are wearing new clothes and commemorate the days blissfully.
Most of the young girls and women put Henna on their hands and design it in various types.
