Drug Smuggler Arrested With Over Half A Ton Of Drugs
KABUL: (MEP) Nangarhar provincial police arrested a smuggler along with 503 kilograms of narcotics in Dur-Baba district of the province on Thursday.
Hazrat Hussian Mashriqwal, spokesman for Nangarhar police said the drug is the kind of hashish, obtained from Karoko area.
“Over transporting the drug, a trafficker known as Riyaz has been arrested” he added.
Mashriqwal stated that the detained smuggler intended to transfer and sell the hashish in other areas and regions.
He said, the investigation is underway from the accused.
Meanwhile, the Nangarhar police spokesman announced from the arresting of a man on suspicion of handling weapons and bullets in police check post of Samarkhel area of Behsud district.
