Donald Trump And President Ghani Hold Telephone Conversation
MEP: US President-elect Donald Trump, after holding phone calls with Presidents of various countries, finally, turned to President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and held a phone call conversation with him.
The billionaire talked with his Afghan counterpart last night and discussed various issues.
Reuters reported that the two sides have spoken on various issues including terrorism and the fight against this phenomenon in the region.
Both sides recognized terrorism a serious “threat” for the region and urged for cooperation to combat this solemn menace.
The office of Mr Ghani did not commented on the report so far.
The first dialogue of Ashraf Ghani and Donald Trump comes as last week Trump held a phone call conversation with Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan’s Prime Minister and described Pakistan “a strange and fantastic country”.
