Clashes Between Taliban And Security Forces Leave Three Civilians Dead In Logar

MapLogarAfghanistanKABUL: (Middle East Press) According to officials in Logar province, at least three civilians were killed and four others were wounded in clashes between Taliban and security forces in southern part of the province.

The officials added that the incident took place on Friday when the security forces were conducting a military operation near a mosque in Baraki Barak district when they came under Taliban ambush.

The civilians had been killed after they had gathered at the mosque to cook a charity meal

Those wounded in the fighting have been shifted to capital Kabul for treatment.

Insurgency activities have widely increased in many provinces of Afghanistan that mostly end up in civilians casualties.
