China To Build Education Center In Afghanistan

KABUL: (Middle East Press) China to build a training center under the name of “Professional Institute” and other convenient services to education in Afghanistan by pledging 58 million dollars.

d70ac_IMG_0652-890x395_cKABUL: (Middle East Press) China is willing to build a training center under the name of “Professional Institute” and other convenient services to education in Afghanistan by pledging 58 million dollars.

Based on the agreement between China and Afghanistan, a training center worth 34.6 million dollars will be constructed in an area of 15000 square meters in parallel.

China is also committed to contribute the remaining of 23.4 million dollars under the leadership of the Ministry of Education in other parts of the country.

The institution building contains 65 classrooms with a capacity of 1,700 students in a course of time, three computer labs, a hostel with a capacity of 105 tons, 25 office rooms, dormitories for boys and girls separately, a mosque, a large conference hall and a library.

Asadullah Hanif Balkhi, Minister of Education said cooperation in the field of education is important since Afghanistan is in the process of restructuring and modernization which needs more skilled and educated workers and professionals.

Balkhi appreciating the international assistance particularly china’s cooperation in the education sector to improve the quantity and quality of the education system in the country, called on for more aid and support from China.

China’s representative in Afghanistan, according to labor market needs and the training of professional cadres emphasized his country’s commitment and promised any sort of assistance as well as training of the professors of the institute in his country on technical and vocational parts.
