CEO: Armed Taliban Will Persist Fighting During Ramadan
MEP: Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) believes that armed Taliban will cowardly continue war and launching suicide attacks during the month of Ramadan contrary to all principles of religious norms against the people.
Abdullah on Monday published a message on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, added that security is a priority programs of the government.
He said the security forces to defend the national sovereignty, national pride and security across Afghanistan against the Taliban and terrorists are at war and defense of the country.
This comes as armed Taliban have frequently rejected the multiple requests of the Afghan government and other countries to come for peace negotiation.
Abdullah in his message wrote “This year people while they are going to welcome Ramadan in Afghanistan despite the difficulties and problems, contrary to the aspirations of the terrorists, take positive step towards stability and the enemies have been defeated in the battlefield and economic and development plans at the national and regional are being implemented.”
