Britain Arrests Two Saudi Cadets Over Rape Claims

rape_caseKABUL: (MEP) The United Kingdom authorities have arrested two Saudi Air Force cadets over the allegations that they sexually assaulted a British woman.

The Saudis, both 21 are alleged to have carried out the attack one arrested on suspicion of rape, second with conspiracy to rape.

According to UK police, both flight engineers were nabbed on Wednesday after a woman complained that she had been fallen victim to their assault in the nearby town of Telford a week earlier.

RAF Cosford hosts elite air engineers from all over the world, including Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, who learn to work on planes sold by the UK to their countries.

“We can confirm that two overseas students based at RAF Cosford have been arrested by West Mercia Police on suspicion of rape and conspiracy to commit rape,” an unnamed RAF spokeswoman was quoted by Daily Mail newspaper as saying.
