Bomb Blast Targets U.S. Convoy in Parwan

A convoy of US troops was hit by a bomb blast in Parwan province.

NATO spokesman Col Sonny Leggett has confirmed the attack, MEP reports.

He wrote in a post on his Twitter that no US or foreign troops were harmed in the roadside bombs blast.

The spokesman for U.S. Forces in Afghanistan did not specify the exact location of the incident.

But Zabihullah Mujahid, an armed Taliban spokesman, says the attack occurred in the Sayyadan area of ​​Parwan province, killing eight foreign troops and injuring four others.
