Bodies Of Armed Taliban Honorably Bury In Baghlan

MEP: A number of local police commanders say, the bodies of armed Taliban in mosques of Baghlan cities bury with ceremonies and funeral of honorably, but security soldiers’ bodies are uttered with fear and obscurity.

Sayyed Kamal Wardak a local police commander of Central Baghlan district says the armed Taliban have warned to religious scholars and local residents not to hold funerals for soldiers’ bodies, otherwise will be punished by them.

According to the local police commander, they sacrifice against terrorism, but a number of local mullahs do not attend the security soldiers’ funerals from the fear of armed Taliban.

Meanwhile, religious scholars, called the killing of innocent people “inappropriate” by the opposition circles, saying “these groups are the puppets of foreign intelligence.”

Mohammad Hassan Hussaini, deputy of the Council of Islamic brotherhood in Baghlan province said, security forces die in defending the homeland, national pride, are the true defenders of their country and uttering their bodies from the viewpoint of Islam is vital for every Muslim.

This comes as previously, the armed Taliban in areas under their control had warned to residents and clerics of mosques that holding funeral for militaries is prohibited, and the participants will be punished.
