Bala Murghab Fully Cleared of Taliban

In an all-inclusive operation, the Security Forces destroyed the latest group of Taliban in Bala Murghab district of Badghis and the district has been fully cleared of militants.

According to Middle East Press, the Ministry of Defense today (Saturday, April 27) releasing a newsletter confirmed that the latest batch of armed Taliban has been destroyed in Bala Murghab district last night.

The new police chief was appointed to improve the security situation in the district and save the lives and wealth of the people.

Based on the newsletter, Security Forces have uncovered and defused nearly 50 landmines embedded in residential homes, sacred places, roads, and villages.

The newsletter adds that the residents of the Bala Murghab district can continue their normal life and return to their daily routines.

Armed Taliban have not yet commented on this.

Meanwhile, the armed Taliban invaded over the district of Bala Murghab during the past month, and collapsed the provincial police headquarter.
