Attackers In Security Uniform Kill Two NATO Soldiers In Kandahar
MEP: Two attackers wearing Afghan security forces uniforms have attacked and killed at least two NATO soldiers in southern Kandahar province while a third one wounded.
The NATO-Romanian soldiers lost their lives last night after gunmen opened fire at an ANDSF compound, Romanian Defense Ministry confirmed in a statement.
The statement added that the foreign soldiers returned fire and killed the shooters.
One Afghan policeman is reportedly to have been arrested and is being questioned.
Further investigations are underway.
