Armed Taliban Executes Policewoman In Helmand

MEP: Body of a female police in anti-narcotics police chief of Helmand province that had disappeared five days ago, was transferred to the provincial hospital last night.

Omar Zwak, spokesman for the governor of Helmand told the Middle East Press, the police woman, had gone to attend a wedding ceremony five days ago with her husband in Nawa district that had kidnapped by the armed Taliban.

He said the security forces on Wednesday found the dead body of the police woman who was director of Helmand Police Chief Drug Administration from Nawa district.

Zwak while linking the incident to the armed Taliban, said that her husband has also been missing since then.

Investigation has been started in this regard.

The armed Taliban group however did not comment on the report so far.

The report comes as a short while ago, a number of unidentified gunmen shot dead five female employees at Kandahar Airfield.
