Armed Taliban Abduct More Passengers In Ghazni

Javed Salangi, spokesman for the governor of Ghazni province confirmed the report to the Middle East News Agency and said the incident occurred last night at around 8:40 PM in Mullah Noh Baba area.

Salangi said the Taliban transferred the passengers to unknown location.

There is no report regarding their identities. However, investigations kicked off to trace them.

The provincial spokesman blames Taliban for kidnapping the passengers but the group has not commented on the report so far.

This comes as two days before the armed Taliban have brutally executed eleven members of security forces who were kidnapped a few days before in Ghazni – Paktia highway.

The bodies of the eleven forces were handed over to their families on Wednesday, Salangi noted.
