ANSF Kill 20 Taliban Insurgents in Military Operations
KABUL: (Middle East Press) Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) launched fresh military operations across the country in which 20 Taliban insurgents have been killed and 38 others wounded, Ministry of Interior (MoI) announced on Tuesday.
Mol issued a statement states that the operations were conducted in Takhar, Faryab, Logar, Oruzgan, Sar-e-Pol, Kunduz and Nangarhar provinces in past 24 hours.
The operations were jointly carried out by Afghan National Police, Afghan National Army and personnel from the National Directorate of Seciryt (NDS) – Afghanistan’s intelligence agency –.
A number of light and heavy ammunition were also confiscated by Afghan security forces during these operations.
