Amrullah Saleh stepped down from his position As State Minister for Security Reforms

Amrullah Saleh, the state minister for security reforms, resigned from his position on Tuesday.

Mr. Saleh wrote on his Facebook page to the heads of government of national unity President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive Officer.

“I resign as the Minister of State Security Sector Reform and Chairman of the Supreme Supervisory Board Defense and Security Forces” he wrote.

No more details were given on motive behind his resignation.

Mr. Saleh in the meantime wished greater success in leading of the government in deep and meaningful reforms in the security sector and defense.

He also wrote at the end!

“I know a lot of questions in your minds will be created. Taking into consideration the important interests of national security and sanctity of the mysteries will try to quickly serve their reasons and explain this decision”.
