Al-Murabitoun Denies its Group Swore Allegiance to the Islamic State
KABUL: (Middle East Press) Leader of the group Al-Murabitoun denies reports that he and his organization, al Murabitoon, swore allegiance to the Islamic State.
Mokhtar Belmokhtar pointed that ISIL group is not welcomed by Algerian people and said: “Adnan Abu Walid al Sahrawi pledge allegiance to the Islamic State, on behalf of the entire Al Murabitoon group.
After the message addressed in the name of Al Murabitoon which dealt with the bayah (allegiance) to Baghdadi we announce, this does not abide by the terms and covenants of the Shura of the organization.” He added although Abu Walid is one the prominent elements in Shura but cannot impose his will on the group.
It is noteworthy that some News agencies reported that al-Mourabitoun pledges allegiance to ISIL on 5th May, 2015.
