Airstrike Kills Senior Taliban Commander In Kunduz

drone attackMEP: A prominent armed Taliban commander and four of his colleagues were killed in a foreign drone attack in Imam Sahib district of Kunduz province.

The press office of Kunduz issued a statement saying the attack took place Monday evening in Maghal Qeshlaq village.

Gul Khan, known as Khanjar, was one of the famous leaders of armed Taliban in Imam Sahib district who was involved in setting up and conducting attacks, explosions and destruction, the statement added.

Air attacks in the country is unprecedented, especially in Kunduz province. The development comes as two days ago, in the wake of unmanned aircraft for foreign forces in Dashti Archi district of the province, six armed Taliban had been killed.
